Design with Character. Built with Purpose.
Avery Burke Creative is an independent creative studio specializing in brand identity, web design, illustration, and visual storytelling for businesses that refuse to blend in. I believe great design is more than something that looks beautiful–it should communicate who you are, build trust with your audience, and leave a lasting impression. Every project begins with strategy, is guided by purpose, and is crafted with the intention of creating work that feels timeless rather than trendy.
Inspired by the grit of vintage Americana, the confidence of editorial design, and the authenticity of analog photography, my work combines thoughtful strategy with bold creative direction. I strive to create brands that feel distinctive, memorable, and built to grow alongside the businesses they represent.
Meet Avery
I’m Avery Burke, the designer behind Avery Burke Creative.
My journey into design began long before I earned my degree. I spent years teaching myself digital illustration, hand lettering, and visual design before decided to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design & Media Arts. That combination of self-taught curiosity and formal design education shaped the way I approach every project–with equal parts creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Today, I partner with entrepreneurs, small businesses, hospitality brands, and growing companies to create thoughtful visual identities that work across every touchpoint–from logos and websites to marketing materials, illustrations, and merchandise.
Whether I’m refining a brand identity, designing a website, or sketching the first concepts for a new idea, my goal remains the same: create work that feels authentic, intentional, and impossible to overlook.
My Philosophy
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all design.
Every business has a story, a personality, and a unique audience. That’s why I take the time to understand your goals before opening a design program. The strongest brands aren’t built from templates–they’re built through collaboration, strategy, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Design should solve problems, spark connection, and create recognition long after the first impression.
Beyond the Screen
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring vintage typography, collecting inspiration from old magazines and roadside Americana, experimenting with illustration, or chasing creative ideas that eventually find their way into client work.
Those influences shape the aesthetic behind Avery Burke Creative: timeless, editorial, nostalgic, and full of character.
Let’s build something memorable.
Whether you’re launching a new business, refreshing an existing brand, or looking for a long-term creative partner, I’d love to help bring your vision to life.
Because the best brands aren’t built to blend in–they’re built to be remembered.
